Young Workers
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration defines young workers as any worker under the age of 25 years. Young workers often find their first opportunity of employment during their summer break or last year of school. This population of workers are at a greater risk due to their inexperience working and their physical, emotional, and lack of knowledge in identifying risks at work. Therefore it is important to provide resources and information to young workers to assist in keeping them safe at work.
