Testing and Treatment Guidelines
The DSHS HIV/STD Program follows national guidelines in the care and treatment of HIV and STDs. These guidelines are developed by Groups with national recognition as leaders in their respective fields such as CDC, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of AIDS Research Council, National Institute of Health, and the AIDS Education and Training Center develop these guidelines. These links are provided as a care and treatment resource for physicians, healthcare professionals, and health care consumers. Recommendations for care and treatment can change; consumers are encouraged to consult sources for updates.
