THISIS FAQ – Syphilis

When I enter Doxycycline treatment of 100mg BID for 14 days for an early syphilis case for a male, the treatment adequacy remains as “No.” This should be adequate treatment. What do I do?

This is an issue that has been identified and will be corrected post go-live. This is an issue with the treatment option of Doxycycline, so users will see treatment inadequacy for all males, regardless of stage of disease. Continue to enter the correct treatment received by the patient. Once the issue is resolved, the system will update the treatment adequacy automatically.
