Breastfeeding Support Outreach Partners

Each year, Texas adds almost 400,000 new moms. Most moms know about the benefits of breastfeeding including better health outcomes for mom and baby.

While most mothers will make the choice to breastfeed, many will face challenges and will not breastfeed for as long as they want to. Texas mothers need breastfeeding support from day one. We can all help to make breastfeeding easier for Texas mothers.

Here are resources to help educate others to change perceptions and improve health systems and environments to help mothers to meet their personal breastfeeding goals.

Whether at home, at work, in health care, or in communities across Texas, we can all help to support breastfeeding.
