The CE Program Guide may assist you with your questions. Here are some frequently asked questions to help.
Can the CE Program help me renew my license?
No. The CE Program is a provider of continuing education and has no authority to provide or renew any type of license. If you need license-specific information, please visit DSHS - Health Professions Resource Center to find more information.
I would like to become a Provider of Continuing Education, or I need to Update my Provider status; can the CE Program assist with this?
No. Please contact the appropriate Accreditation organization for your Provider status or to become a Provider.
I am part of an organization outside of HHSC/DSHS; can the CE Program help me offer continuing education credits/contact hours for my event?
External organizations wishing to work with the DSHS CE Program must partner with a DSHS/HHSC program closely aligned to their area of interest to gain co-host or co-sponsor approval. Please read the CE Program Guide for more information.

My DSHS/HHSC program would like to offer continuing education credits/contact hours for an upcoming event. Can the CE Program help me?
Yes! Please read the CE Program Guide, and complete the Pre-Application form linked within, so that we may better assist you.
I attended an event where the DSHS CE Program provided the continuing education credits/contact hours. Can you help me locate my certificate?
Please reach out to the Event Planner from your event for your certificate. If you are not aware of who the Event Planner is, you can reach out to the CE Program for help identifying them.
If you are missing a Texas Health Steps certificate, please log into your Texas Health Steps account and find the certificate in your transcript.
