Mission Statement:

The mission of the HIV/STD Program is to find, study, and prevent sexually transmitted diseases in our community.  We promise to uphold the highest standards of honesty, respect, dignity, and confidentiality.                  

Program overview:

The HIV/STD program is part of the network, which performs investigative work aimed at tracking down the sources of infections and subsequent contacts of the individuals who may have been infected.  Services include counseling, obtaining names of contacts, referrals to medical providers, local health departments and community-based screening entities in providing clinical, diagnostic and epidemiological services, including STD related treatment/screening supplies and also provides information and referrals.
